How to Add Assets to Your Account

At the end of the day, an asset is just something that generates revenue for your business. Assets are typically static and are physical. Assets can be anything from apartment units to physical equipment. Anything that you'd like to associate a work order to.

UpKeep is the central location for all your asset information. Upload additional resource files like manuals or schematics, view work orders completed on the asset, view updates from your team, and more.

Depending on the business type you chose during setup, Assets can have a different name. They can be called "Units", "Equipment", "Vehicles" or "Assets".

Add Individual Assets

Within UpKeep, they can be assigned to locations and each asset can have a 2 layer hierarchy of asset and sub-asset.

You can create your first asset by pressing the "+ Asset" button. Give it a name, take a picture, add a barcode, and  press save!
